Dear
Parents,
We
would like to invite you to consider participating in a
cooperative project that we are arranging with parents of
pre-school children.
This
project, called “PROJECT HEADSTART”, is based upon the
most recent scientific evidence of what can and should
be done to ensure that your child reaches his or her full
potential. Research scientists have now discovered that
there are windows of opportunity that open very early in life.
If positive stimulation is given at these times, learning
becomes easy and fun.
Following
this lead, child development specialists have developed a
system for teaching pre-school children how to read using
play materials. Incredibly, it takes only 5 minutes a day of
“special play time”. Similar systems have been
developed for math and other subjects.
We
have combined these systems with other early learning
materials to assemble a fully integrated program that
we believe will:
1.
Help children to become good readers at an early age
and comprehend what they read.
2.
Help them in their formative years to develop a
very positive attitude towards learning
that will last a
lifetime.
3.
Develop their ability to think logically and problem
solve.
4.
Build their confidence, self-esteem and
leadership skills.
5.
Help them achieve their full intellectual
potential.
The
guiding principle of the project is that learning should
always be fun for the child. The full
resources of the A+
Child Development Teacher
Assistance Department will be made available to participating
families for the entire duration of the project.
Comments
from participating families will be used as testimonials in
the future.
You
will be called to arrange a convenient time to discuss the
project, with the clear understanding that there is absolutely
no obligation to you or to our company.
Unless
both parents are in full accord in encouraging their children
to use the materials and services they will not be
invited to participate in this project.
Thanking
you in advance for your courtesy, I am,
Sincerely
yours,
Terry
